Have you tried the new sledge areas in Alagna and Alpe di Mera? We present them to you!

Having fun at high altitude is not a skier’s prerogative. If you want to spend some good time on the snow, with family or friends, and at the same time enjoy a suggestive view over Valsesia and Monte Rosa, a sledge is the right choice for you!

There are two reserved areas. The first that you will meet when approaching Valsesia, is located in Alpe di Mera.

To reach it, just leave your car in Scopello, in Piazzale Seggiovie, and take the red chairs of the lift that will take you up to an altitude of 1.560 meters.

Once you have completed this panoramic journey into nature, you will have to follow the signs and take the road that leads to the center of the village.

You will find the track after a few steps on a snowy road, just beyond the Church, with a view on the south face of our Massif that has no equal.

The slope has been prepared and protected with safety grid and access is free!

In Alagna a similar area is located in Pianalunga, just above the upper station of the cable car that leaves from the town.

We are here at an altitude of 2.046 meters, with the highest peaks of Monte Rosa behind and the entire valley in front of your eyes.

You can reach the slope in a few steps from the arrival of the lift, to slide safely and have fun!
