Lake Perrin is one of the high mountain lakes scattered around the Val Ayas mountains.  What makes this lake particularly special is that from its altitude of 2,600 metres you can see the summits of the Matterhorn and Mont Blanc as well as the unique Walser villages you come across on the path to Champoluc lake.
