A walk to reach the door of the Biella mountains!

This itinerary is simple, short and pleasant. It was once used by shepherds as a link between Valsesia and Valsessera, a real axis between the provinces of Vercelli and Biella. For this reason, Bocchetta della Boscarola has always been defined as the gateway to the paths towards Biella!

If you reach Mera by chairlift from Scopello or by car, the walking time is just over 30 minutes. If instead you choose to walk from Scopello it will take about 2 hours and 30 minutes.

You can also reach the Bocchetta della Boscarola by MTB, following the Cycle Path of Valsesia number 3, which connects Mera to Bielmonte.
