The 1 and 2 high routes are the symbol of one of the most fascinating and spectacular areas in the Alps: the route unravels, on foot, from the highest mountains in Italy and Europe: Mont Blanc, Monte Rosa and the Matterhorn; it runs through parks and nature reserves in the Aosta Valley such as the Gran Paradiso and Mont d’Avic. Every year along these paths the legendary Tor des Geants is held, one of the most demanding endurance trials in the world.
