Now we are! Friday, December 2 is getting closer! Very few weeks separate us from the start of the 2022/2023 ski season in the Monterosa Ski 3 Valleys with the collaboration of Nordica, technical partner of the ski area straddling the Aosta Valley and Piedmont. Starting from Champoluc-Frachey, in the Ayas Valley, you can reach Alagna in Valsesia passing through Staffal in the Gressoney Valley. Many news for the coming winter, first of all, the reintroduction of the morning ski pass and the Cancellation Protection for those who decide to buy their ski pass directly online.

But let’s go into detail.


If on 2 December the season will be inaugurated in the area of the 3 Valleys, in satellite stations will have to wait a few more days.
More precisely, the Alpe di Mera lifts will open  from 6 December. The following day, Wednesday, December 7, all on track in Antagnod, Brusson, Gressoney-Saint-Jean and Champorcher. After a short break from 12 to 16 December, you can again ski the weekend of 17 and 18 December and then every day from 23 December to Alpe di Mera and 24 December in the other smaller stations of the Monterosa Ski Group.

While waiting for the arrival of an abundant snowfall, from the 1st November the guns are ready to shoot snow artificially taking advantage of the conditions of temperature, wind and humidity when congenial.


Prices for winter 2022/2023 have not been increased since last season.
The purchase of the ski pass can be done either directly at the ticket office or from the comfort of home via online store.
For those who choose the latter, savings are assured. Thanks to the dynamic pricing, present in the Monterosa Ski Group since last winter, buy the ticket 3 Valleys allows you to range in a range ranging from 38,00 to 60,00 euros, according to the three seasonality identified, saving even the 5 euro supplement provided at the checkout. The variables that lead the price to increase are the approach of the validity date and the number of tickets sold and therefore the greater the advance in the online purchase, the greater the savings.

Prices also blocked for the seasonal ski pass ranging from 940,00 euros for the classic Monterosa Ski subscription to 980,00 euros for the Monterosa Freeride Paradise with, in addition, the possibility of skiing in the freeride area of Indren.

In the resorts we find instead a fixed price that varies depending on whether you decide to come skiing on a weekday or holiday. The season passes of resorts also allow you to ski in the Monterosa Ski 3 Valli from the beginning of the season until 24 December and in the closing season.

Morning Ski pass

To the delight of many returns this year the morning ski pass valid until 13 hours.
The morning is that particular type of ski pass that allows you to enjoy the slopes in the first part of the day, to have lunch in one of the many huts on the slopes, to stay at altitude in the afternoon then returning to the valley at the end of the day. If in fact with the morning you can not use the lifts after 13 hours you can get off at any time. The price of this ticket varies from a minimum of 32,00 euros to a maximum of 51,00 euros.

Cancellation Protection

Another important news for the 2022/2023 ski season is the Cancellation Protection.
This guarantee protects you from any last-minute mishap that prevents you from using your ticket. In fact, it will be enough to insert the Cancellation Protection in the shopping cart. The cost is € 2,00 for daily, morning and afternoon ski passes and € 1,00 for each day for the purchase of multi-day ski passes. In case of impediment the refund, which must be requested five days before the start of validity of the ski pass, will be through the release of a promocode to be used for a subsequent online purchase by the end of the next ski season.
