Monterosa Ski

Monterosa Ski Group is probably the best-kept secret of the Italian Alps. It’s located at the foot of the second highest European massif and nowadays the area offers a wide system of skiing resorts: Monterosa Ski 3 Valleys is the main one and connects Champoluc, Gressoney-La-Trinité and Alagna; on the top of it there’s Monterosa Freeride Paradise, that you can reach with the lift that from Passo dei Salati arrives to Indren glacier. But that’s not all: the Group also offers smaller ski resorts that are just perfect if you are looking for family-friendly slopes.

IN WINTER
You could start from the local skiing stations, which are great for beginners or you could go for more challenging descents on the main skiing area, reaching 3.000m of altitude and then down to the valley with a drop around 2.000 m.
Breathtaking views, efficient lifts and many slopes will ensure fun and a bit of adrenaline.

According to the snow conditions, the ski season on the main ski area will start on November 30th and will continue until Sunday April 14th 2019.
On the occasion of Easter, if the snow conditions will allow it, lifts in Bettaforca area will be open: it would be possible to ski from Frachey to Gressoney and then to Alagna and up to Indren and the freeride area, enjoying the Monterosa Ski 3 Valleys even though lifts in Champoluc and Punta Jolanda area will be closed.
From April 23rd to 28th you can keep skiing on the Salati area: lifts from both Stafal and Alagna to Indren will be open according to the winter schedule.
Finally, from April 29th to May 5th, the great end of seaons will go on stage with the spring schedule: lifts from Stafal to Indren will be open and you could enjoy our amazing freeride area.

The lifts in Antagnod, Brusson and Gressoney-Saint-Jean will open from December 7th to 9th, on December 15th and 16th and then will be open everyday from December 22nd to March 17th, 2019.

In Champorcher the lifts will open from December 7th to 9th, on December 15th and 16th and then everyday from December 22nd to March 24th, 2019.

Finally, important news for the Alpe di Mera lifts, where snow conditions permitting, the ski area will be in operation every day from 7 December 2018 to 7 April 2019.

In summertime finally the Monterosa Ski resort offers to his guests a big nature show: the Monte Rosa massif.
The lifts opening allows to connect the three Monterosa Ski valleys also during the Summer.
